A clearer view for independent providers.
Mandersley was created to give smaller independent care providers access to the kind of organisational visibility, continuity and thoughtful challenge that can be difficult to build internally.
The focus is practical: helping leaders bring information together, understand what it is telling them and keep sight of the actions and learning that matter.
Experience behind the work.
Mandersley is led by Penny du Sautoy, a registered nurse with experience spanning adult social care, clinical quality, governance, improvement, digital transformation and organisational assurance.
Her career has included frontline care, senior quality and clinical leadership, work with care providers and national NHS digital transformation programmes. Across those settings, the recurring challenge has been the same: important information often exists, but seeing the whole picture — and maintaining continuity around what happens next — is much harder.
Mandersley brings that experience into focused support for smaller independent providers.

How Mandersley approaches the work.
Support before policing
The aim is to strengthen leadership and oversight, not create another layer of inspection.
Learning before blame
Problems and significant events are opportunities to understand what happened, why it made sense at the time and what can be learned.
Work as it is actually done
Useful assurance comes from understanding practice in context, not simply checking whether a document says the right thing.
Clarity over complexity
Mandersley should make it easier to see what matters — not add unnecessary process, paperwork or meetings.
Independent by design.
Mandersley provides an external organisational view while remaining close enough to the work to understand its realities. The aim is to offer constructive challenge, continuity and perspective without becoming part of the provider’s management hierarchy.
For a smaller provider, that can mean having someone whose job is to keep looking across the organisation — including at the things that are easy to miss when everyone else is busy running it.
